A good father makes all the difference in a child’s life. Dad’s are protectors, supporters and disciplinarians. A fathers work is endless and many times, thankless. A good father understands that his kids are human and will make a lot of mistakes in life like dating the bad boy, wrecking the family car and spending money recklessly and he allows his kids to make mistakes and learn from them, but continuing to make the same mistakes over and over will not be tolerated. 

 

The best dads take a genuine interest in their kids and what they like to do and will be the first to show up at events. My own father exemplified all of the qualities mentioned and went out of his way to make sure his daughters had everything their hearts desired. He wanted his children to be educated, kind to others and well traveled which I think is why my sister and I try our best to be respectful of all walks of life, always learning and not be judgement of other people, so thank you dad. Go out out and buy dad something nice or take him out to eat. If your father is no longer around, know that he is with you in your heart at all times and is still watching out for you .
