I love Subscription makeup and skincare boxes because it’s like Christmas time and opening up a beautiful package. It is so exciting when you open up a box full of goodies and you are not sure what to expect. I started out with Birchbox, then moved on to FabFitFun, Rachel Zoe’s Box of Style and finally the New Beauty test tube box. 

First is Birchbox. The price per month is $10.00 and you get a mix of hair, skin and personal sample products to test out based on your profile you set up. This is a great box for those who want to test out products before committing to the full size. Plus it’s great because you can take the products with you when you travel and they don’t take up much space. I cancelled after a few months, but just recently I signed back up because I am traveling a lot with work and I love the sample size products. 

The next box I tried was FabFitFun. The cost is 49.99 and it comes quarterly filled with products related to beauty, fashion and fitness. I liked this box at first but then I decided I wanted a box focused more on skincare so I cancelled my subscription. One thing great about this company is they partner with a charity each season so that’s nice they donate. I have a lot of friends who continue to get this subscription, but like I said, I prefer more skincare and makeup boxes. 

Then I decided to spend a little more money and try out the Rachel Zoe box, because I’m a little obsessed with Rachel and I DIE for her style and tips. I hate to say this but I did not like this Subscription box at all. It states you get $400.00 dollars of products for only $99.00 but I didn’t feel the price was worth it because it focused more on jewelry and clothes and less on beauty products. I received the Summer and Fall boxes and cancelled after those. I did get an awesome hat I loved so it was not a loss. 

The last Subscription box I will cover is the New Beauty Test tube box and lets just say, I’m still with them so this gets my 5 stars. This box delivers everything I am looking for personally because the products they send are high end and most are preferred by spas and plastic surgeons across the country. You get a Subscription to the New Beauty magazine, which is one of the best magazines around if you are looking for the newest and greatest products to fight the signs of aging and it comes with a wealth of knowledge on skincare, makeup, to the latest treatments being done by people around the US. You need to pick up this magazine when you come across it. The test tube comes with a mix of samples to full size products and it is definitely worth the money. The cost is $29.95 and it comes six times a year with a full year subscription to the New Beauty Magazine. Their Customer Service is by far the best of all the companies I have tried.
