With summertime finally here, I don’t want to waste all day inside trying to decide on the perfect outfit to wear so it’s time for a style revamp. As I go through my closet, I look for key pieces that will go with any outfit combo but I realized there are quite a few items I am in dire need of. 

 

 

With the current heat wave and my calendar filling up, my summer outfits need to keep me comfortable and looking my best. So right now I am really looking for the thinnest material I can find that is cool and soft to the touch. Who wants to sweat in this summer heat? Not me. A cute dress is a must have for any summer outfit. You can wear it to work or dress it up for a night on the town. I love this gorgeous wrap dress from one of my favorite brands Free People. $103.60

Summer is the season for weddings so a cute dress to wear that can be worn more then once is an item I am always looking for. This Bardot Lace Sheath dress is adorable and can be worn out for drinks with friends even after you wear it to a wedding. $129.00

 

 

 

Most nights I go out I like to wear a cute pair of jeans that can be dressed up with a nice blazer and a pair of heels or sandals. These Rag & Bone Dark Denim boyfriend jeans will go with a white tee, tank or dressed up with a halter top and heels. $100.00

 

 

 

 

When the weather is hot nothing feels better than a cute pair of dress shorts. I don’t normally wear shorts unless I have a spray tan or spend some time in the sun but I like to keep a few pairs in my closet just in case I feel daring.

 

I also love Denim Shorts because you can wear them in the day or dress them up for a night out with friends. One Teaspoon is one of my favorite brands and I already own a few pair of these Bandit shorts. $65.00

 

 

After going through my closet I noticed I have like 30 tank tops and I keep buying them. The funny thing is I forget I have one in a certain brand and buy it over and over again,  so I need to start donating these. 

 

 

 

With the sun beaming down it is important to protect your eyes not just for health reasons but to prevent wrinkles too. I’m a Ray Ban Aviator girl myself. I know, so 90s but I don’t think they ever go out of style. $159.00
