Finding “safe” skin care products while pregnant and nursing is not as easy as one may think. I wish I would of known about Pretty Mommies when I was pregnant with Olive! I had to eliminate basically everything from my daily routine while pregnant because I had no idea if the products I was using were safe. The amount of research I did to find pregnancy skin care was insane and I was left with very few options and the ones I did find were astronomical in price.

I am pretty simple. I like to use a good face wash and eye cream and a day/night cream. The biggest concerns I have with my skin is discoloration from sun damage. I tried Pretty Mommies for two months before writing this blog. I wanted to give myself enough time to really give the product an honest review.

The two products from Pretty Mommies that I used were “Let’s be Clear” and “Truth be told skin Enhancer”

Lets be clear is an all natural gentle cleanser that not only exfoliates it washes away make-up like a charm leaving my skin feeling soft, hydrated and clean. The texture and tone of my skin was enhanced and I noticed a brighter overall appearance after washing with this facial cleanser morning and evening. 

After cleansing my face with Let’s be clear, I used Truth be told skin enhancer. This product claims to even out skin tone and reduce inflammation among many other things. I love this product, its lightweight and not greasy. You only need a few pumps and it goes on smooth and doesn’t leave any residue. Its not a serum, it has a consistency of a lightweight lotion which is great for people concerned about clogging their pores. I noticed over the two month trial of this product that my face looked significantly brighter, less tired and felt super soft. I used this directly following my face wash.
