BEAUTY HACKS

• After finishing your foundation and face powder, place your face in a bowl of cold water for about 3 second’s then pat dry. This is a great way to set your foundation. Finish the rest of your face after patting dry.
• Use almond oil to remove makeup. Much cheaper than makeup removers
• Use coconut oil on your scalp before washing. Leave on for about 5 minutes
• Don’t have time to curl your hair? Do a few one-inch braids, take a hair straightener over them, spread out the braids and voila, quick waves.
• Ran out of nail polish remover? No problem, just use vinegar and lemon juice.
• Make your hair appear thicker by using an eyeshadow color around the same as your hair color. Brush it on your hair near the scalp.
• Use a little baby powder on your lashes after the first coat of mascara. Then do your second coat. It makes your lashes look thicker.

HOUSEHOLD HACKS

• Looking to get your beer or soda cold quicker? Wrap the bottle in a wet paper towel and put it in the freezer. It will be cold in no time.
• Use a pool noodle to keep your boots up straight and in better shape
• If you are traveling and you want to keep your shoes from getting your clothes dirty, wrap them in a shower cap.
• At the beach and don’t want to take your purse? Clean out an old sunscreen bottle and use it to store your keys, money and phone.
• In the winter, I like to spray cooking spray on the snow shovel. It prevents snow buildup.

• When I travel, I like to use a pill box to store my earrings and rings.
• Use Tin Foil in your dryer. It helps to keep your clothes static free. Make sure there are no edges, so roll it up in a ball and voila.

• Need help threading a needle? Just spray hairspray on the end of your thread and it helps to stiffen it up. Makes threading the needle a piece of cake.
• Bananas go bad too fast? Just wrap them in aluminum foil and they will last up to 5 days longer.
